TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read the brochure carefully. Take special care to read all the terms and conditions mentioned below. When reservations are made on your behalf for any of the tours, cruises or excursions described in this brochure, these terms and conditions will constitute your acceptance and will make up part of the contract with TurkeyVacation.ca.

How to reserve
Reservations should be made as early as possible to guarantee the departure of your choice. A deposit of $400 per person is required at the time of reservation. Your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of your deposit by TurkeyVacation.ca. This deposit is 100% non refundable.

Airfare Penalties
Some airlines request the ticket issuance more than 45 days before departure. In this case clients must give authorization to apply the amount needed to cover the tickets. Cancellation after the issuance of tickets may result in some airline penalties ranging from $400 to a total cost of ticket depending on the airline. At the time of the reservation it is very important to provide the complete names as indicated in the passport otherwise additional expenses can apply.

Credit cards
TurkeyVacation.ca accepts VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Verbal authorization of the use of the credit card indicates your approval with our booking terms & conditions and confirm your reservation whether or not you have actually signed the appropriate draft. Credit card payment will be processed in Canadian funds.

Changes to reservation
After your vacation has been confirmed, we can assist you with some changes in your reservation for a fee of $100 (some other fees may also apply according to the new program or product selected). No change will be accepted 30 days and less before the departure.

Accommodation
All accommodations are "run of the house" standard rooms with bath. Accommodations will vary in size depending on the hotel property. The room assignments are at the discretion of the hotel management. If the requested hotel is unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute the hotel accommodation with a similar category.

Cancellation policy
Charges will be based on the date on which cancellation notice is received. In order to determine the time of cancellation, the departure day will be excluded. No refund can be made for any accommodations, services not used. If cancellation occurs while the trip is in progress, no refund can be made for the unused portion. Deposit towards a booking constitutes full knowledge and acceptance of the cancellation policy. Regardless of the cause, the following terms will apply upon cancellation: non refundable
 
- 46 days and more before departure:
   $400 per person
- 45 to 30 days before departure:
   75% of total amount per person
- 30 days and less before departure:
   100% of total amount per person
 
Canceling or changing (including name correction) of air reservation before or after departure may result in airline penalties ranging from $400 to total cost of ticket depending on the airlines and the tickets restrictions. We strongly recommend the purchase of "Trip cancellation Insurance"

Required documents
At the moment of the impression of this brochure, the Canadian citizens need visa to enter Turkey; all the citizens must be in possession of a valid passport of 6 months after the return date of the trip. The cost of the VISA is $60 U.S. (or the equivalent amount in Canadian dollars) and can be obtained with the entry of the country (counter with the airport) or at the Turkish Consulate in Ottawa.

Insurance
TurkeyVacation.ca cannot be responsible or liable for loose, damage or theft of personal luggage and belongings, nor can we be liable for personal injury, accident or illness. That is why we strongly urge you to check with you insurance agent to make sure you are adequately covered for any eventualities.

Cost not included
Expenses of passport, visas, laundry, wines, liquor, mineral water, and all items not mentioned or items of a personal nature; items not on set menus, excessive baggage charges, health, accident, baggage, and trip cancellation insurance, tipping also is not included.

Responsibility
TurkeyVacation.ca reserves the right without notice to withdraw any part or all of the tour and to make such changes as may be necessary and the extra cost, if any, resulting there from shall be paid by the tour members. Except where otherwise stated,TurkeyVacation.ca acts only as an agent in securing hotel, transportation and other travel services and in no event shall TurkeyVacation.ca be liable in the event of any failure by any person or company to render any transportation, lodging or other travel service to be provided on the tour. All hotels, transportation and other travel services are provided to tour members subject to all the terms and conditions under which they are offered to the public generally. Neither TurkeyVacation.ca or its agents shall be liable for any personal injury, property loss, or other damage to any tour member sustained on the tour whether arising out of or incident to the tour or otherwise TurkeyVacation.ca is not responsible for luggage lost by airlines or left behind by passengers, any costs incurred will be the responsibility of the passenger. Inclement weather may necessitate changes in the itinerary as outlined in the responsibility clause. There may also be other circumstances in which changes (such as hotel replacements) become necessary or advisable.

Airlines clauses
The IATA Carriers, steamship lines and other transportation companies whose services are featured in these tours are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not on board their respective conveyances. The passage contract in use by there companies when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these tour and or passage. TurkeyVacation.ca does not assume responsibility for cancellation fees of apex or any special fares due to itinerary or departures changes.

Airlines Baggage Regulations
Economy class allowance per tour participant is two checked pieces for which the total sum of the 3 dimensions (length plus height and width) does not exceed 106 inches (270cms). No single piece may exceed the 3-dimensional sum of 62 inches (158cms). Carriers liability for member’s baggage is clearly stated on the passenger contract included on all tickets or can be found on file for inspection at the offices of the carrier. Liability to checked and unchecked baggage shall in no event exceed the actual loss incurred by the passenger, subject to proof of the amount of the loss.

Validity
All the prices mentioned in the brochure are valid from February 1 until April 1, 2009. TurkeyVacation.ca declines any responsibility as for interpretation for the tables for price. After this dates prices and conditions may be subject to changes without notice.

Important notice
TurkeyVacation.ca reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour passenger should such person’s health or mental condition or physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the right or welfare or enjoyment of other tour passengers and refund the unused land tour services is the limit of TurkeyVacation.ca liability.
